Trying to find a western story. But no luck with search engines 
Starts off with the Hero coming back into town after being away for years.
He left town because he was immature, went off sailing and adventuring but always remembering a Spanish? girl from back home.
He has issues when he's back in his home town with bandits/rustlers. They do a stock drive to a bigger city and his love interest rides with them.
Along the way the both realise they like each other.
In the city stories of his adventures get back to the hometown honey and she gets jealous of some other women.
There's a bar scene where Hero hears guys talking in foreign language he understands. A knife fight breaks out.
Ending scene is a big party and hometown honey forces him to propose with a ring he's been carrying in his boot.
They live happily ever after.
