Scott shook his head as he listened to the music and commotion below him. Why had he agreed to let his son have a party at his house. He must have had to many drinks that night when he agreed to it. He had never liked his son's friends any way, and now they and all their friends were over at his house. He rubbed his eyes, there was no way he was going to get any work done. He decided that he was going to get a beer. He stood up and stretched out his almost six foot frame. He headed down stairs slowly, he did his best to make his way quietly with out attracting to much attention.
It was always awkward walking through a party being the 'adult' in the group. He made his way to the fridge and grabbed a beer, he smirked. Well at least his son had done that right and gotten it stocked. He looked around at the rest of the party goers, he knew that most of them were not over 21. He shook his head, well the less he knew the better.
He popped the cap off and started to head back to the stairs. He saw a phone on the back of the couch, no one was sitting there at the moment so he picked it up. His company had been working on some new software so this would be a good time to test it out.
He took the phone up stairs and hooked it up to his computer. He typed in a few commands and watched the progress bar slowly move across the screen. After a few minutes he had a copy of the phone on his computer.
He took the phone back down stars and left it where he found it.
This was going to be a crap night, he texted one of his friends to meet him at a sports bar. He grabbed his coat and headed out.
