lost luggage?

i have tried to make it a practise to only take what luggae i can manage with on carry on for flying,
HOWEVER,now..soon,Ill be flying and will need to pack more than what can be crammed into a lil carry on bag
How many of you have gotten luggage lost before?

Never. Once it wasn't on the same plane, but that was because we were rerouted. The luggage arrived about ten hours later and the airline delivered it.

I never do carry on.
