Amethyst; the angel of hope had been given the task of going to earth and bringing hope to all mankind. She had been told that Satan was using his son to bring despair and death, amongst other sins to earth. Legend said that the son had been born through lust and lust alone. Some angels even said that he was considered the lust demon.

It was proposterous but not entirely impossible, not that it mattered to Amethyst.

"Now Amethyst you will go in disguise by the name of Amy Latimer." her mentor Charisma told her. "Remember there will be many temptations down below but do not fall for them, they are sent by the devil himself. "

"Yes Charisma. I understand." Amethyst responded.

"Also, beware of the lust demon.." Charisma warned, Amethyst knew this had to be the son of Satan. Though, she didn't exactly know what he looked like but she could sense him, couldn't she? Though she was a new angel of hope her powers would certainly kick in.

"Do your duty..it should take you at least a 5 years at the least..7 at the most."

Amethyst nodded her head and was soon transported to a small apartment in Brooklyn. Her dark brown hair cascaded down her shoulders. They had given her a civilized outfit, not to revealing. The silver dress hugged her curves in all the right places and a slight bit of clevage showed but not a large amount, though it was obvious that she wasn't lacking in that area.

Sam truly enjoyed his work. Waht better way to spend ones existence then by compelling others to seek the true joy of life? The joy of fullfilled lust. Every explosive orgasm. Every chance encounter and a good fuck in the back seat of a car outside a bar. Every broken heart and broken wedding vow. Every broken promise and broken dream. You hadro break a few eggs to mak an omelette and their souls were his to cook with, and what better place to cook then in the fires of hell itself?

Sam was a tall lithe muscular framed being. He had the ability to change his shape and become invisible, as well as several other tricks but the rest were nit physically noticeable nthey were all forms of compulsion and exploitation, the ability to determine and exploit ones weaknesses and what better place to help the downward spiral of man than new york?

He strode down the street in a nice pin stripe suit and a grey fedora, a toothpick in his mouth and a tune humming in hisnthoat. Each soul he passed was tested and weighed. Each inhibition diminished and passion enflamed. He was a walking loci of chaos. Nit murder and rampage but if lust, sex, and satisfaction. And he loved it. Catching the eye of every woman henpassed and giving them a little tingle, somehong that might make them phone a freind if their other was away. By simply being about and spreading his taint, it was remarkable how much damage he could do. And it was throgh that wave of damage he could be found. No other way would work, unless it was his father. His birth by a human woman had passed a certain bit of purity on him that covered the taint from his father. Not entirely, he just seemed to be one who sinned, and what human didn't?

Amythest now know as Amy, decided it was time to venture out of her lush apartment and down to the world. She shuddered at the thought. She had never actually been around humans before. Sure, she had given hope to those who had lost a loved one or had just gotten their heart broken, but that was just one human and she did it from her perfect little puffy cloud in the sky.

Amy grabbed a black jack to cover herself as it was cold outside. "Yoiu can do this Amy.." she murmured to herself as she grabbed her...what were those things called again? Oh, yes...keys..that were used for...uh...unlocking and locking things...at least she hoped so.

Because Charisma told her not to use her powers on Earth lest a demon be aware of her prescence.

She then remembered that she needed a purse to use the thing called money...which every human seemed so...deadset on having. She set down her keys and grabbed her purse and walked out the door... Yes, leaving her keys.

"Oh darn! I forgot...I have to wear shoes..." Amy sighed and walked to the door and fished around for her keys..."Uh oh..." She glanced around the apartment and saw that no one was around..."No harm if...no one is...around...right?" she whispered to herself and using telepathy, she unlocked the door, grabbed her shoes and her keys and then finally left the apartment accidently bumping into a gorgeous man wearing a pin striped shirt..

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." she said, her body felt..weird..kind of tingly but she couldn't exactly understand why.

Sam froze, h felt it, one of hem was near and was using. He stood by the door and waited. Then when it opened hencoild smellthe purity, he could see the glow from the connection shebhad made withthe power, and he smiled before striding ahead, colliding with her in accident

"Hey wat h it lady" he said in a gruff voice but then he looked over at her, shedding his awe into her

"Im sorry miss. I didn't see you there. Can I help you" he asked as he let his mind ooze serenity and opness at her

"Here let me at least buy you some coffee. I almost knocked you down" he asked innocently as he seethed to get a crack at this one. I had been more hen a century since he had met a anger one. An angel on earth. An easy target. The ultimate trophy to soils

"Please it's the least I can do"

Amy flushed as the man seemed visibly upset. She had apologized hadn't she? It seemed he had come to his senses when he looked at her. She ahd to remind herself that this was earth and most humans minds were wrapped around the thought of...sex.

"No I'm alright. Thank you though." She responded politely.

"Here let me at least buy you some coffee. I almost knocked you down"

Coffee? What was coffee?

"I ...no thanks..I wouldn't want to impose." She said, not realizing how polite she was being was WAY out of the norm for any human especially a new yorker.

"Um..." Well, it couldn't hurt...could it...to get coffee? After all, to fit into this world for the next five years, she would have to learn what coffee was among other things. "Alright.. I can't stay too long though..I have..some business to take care of."

Besides what kind of angel would she be if she said no?

Sam smiled as she accepted. He gestured fir her to come with him and the two stepped out into the street. Sam was perplexed no latter what hendid, it seemed to just roll of off her, but at least it was salwaying jer somewhat nshe was no human so of cours his charms would not work so well, but once he got in there. Oh how tuenfun would begin then.

Within a few minutes they were seated at a small coffee shop

"So business huh. What business are
you attendng to this evening?" what did angels do with their time anyway? He wondered to himself as his eyes slid over her curvy frame. Oh itwould be fun indeed

"Yes...business.." Hm, she hadn't exactly thought this out when he asked her what sort of business. She couldn't lie...that was against Gods law. " I'm a counselor?" Well, she did give hope to those around her...and thats what counselors did right? They were like angels...in human form..

"I have to counsel someone...very important." All humankind was important.

Amy cleared her throat as she took a sip of the dark liquid which she assumed was coffee. She grimaced and spit the dark coffee out...hitting the mans pin striped jacket.

She blushed, "I-I'm so sorry..I didn't mean to...I mean... the taste of this...coffee surprised me. I don't really drink coffee." Was it normal for humans not to drink coffee? Goodness, she hoped so!

Sam jerked slightly as hisnsiitngotnsprwyednwih coffee. Hentook a napkin and blotted at the stains nhis suit was ruined and this angel was very new

"Well I woulda gotten you some tea if you hated coffee" he said with a smile as he saw her struggle with trying to decide waht to do. Then the waitress came over and Dam gave her a little nudge. The young blond waitress began to rub down his hest wouna cloth, working at the stain but obviously feeling his chest. Since she was new here henhad to obscure her idea of what was right

"Its perfectly fine sweety. I just need to get cleaned up is all, but don't you worry. " h told her wih a smile as the waitress went over nad used a napkin to wipe off her. Her chin and her neck, her hands sliding a little low to caress the tips of her breasts. Then Sam wwaved her away

"Thats a very nice dress for counseling. What kind of counseling do you do" henasked as he took a sip of his own coffee, concocting a plan as she spoke

Amy watched in shock and surprise as the waitress came towards him and practically molested the poor man. He didn't seem much bothered with it though. She frowned at how odd humans were. The woman seemed to enjoy touching herself as well. It was highly odd, something she had never seen before.

"Oh, what kind?" Amy repeated, there were...different kinds of counseling. "I counsel...I um...I don't see how thats any of your business." She couldn't quite force herself to lie. That was unknown to her.

Her tone had sounded slightly annoyed by the question...which frightened even herself. "I um..sorry I just..I hardly know you...and I feel it unsafe to give..so much information about myself." Her eyes averted back to the table.

"Well no worries just making conversation. You just seem knew to the city and inwas curious about what brought you here. I came her for work some years back and have not left since

I don't do counseling exactly, I'm in sales, but a good salesman uses a lot of psychology innhis line of work. It makes the job more successful if you can read a persnickety nyou look new and frightened and I just wanted to help is all

Amy looked up at him and felt bad just by the way he was looking at her...like a concerned person. It was just that she couldn't tell him she was an angel here to help mankind...he'd either think she was crazy...or laugh...or possibly both.

"No, it's okay. You are right. I am new here, I-I suppose having someone help me along the way wouldn't be....too bad."

Amy was a very trusting angel because if you had hope that meant you had to trust to have hope. Some angels had even said she was too trusting at times.

"I counsel the depressed." That was good, it was true..she helped the depressed become more hopeful. "I give them more hope than they have. Sales does take psychology, does it not? I'm not a very good sales person.." She was trying to be conversational. "What do you sale?"

Sam chuckled breifly

"I sell anything to anyone and if the price is right I'll sell anyone to anything. No, no I'm just kidding. I sell marketing. I make people want things. I feed their desires actually. I like to think of myself as a bringer of all things wanted" be told her with a smile as his eyes gave jer a cursory glance, trying to get her to open up a little herself. He could see a little of the pent up curiousity in her

"I don't think I could do your job, depressed people can be so dificult. I preferthe lively thrill seeker. For example that man over there" he said motioning to a man who was eyeing the pretty young waitress

"He needs to simy let go and enjoy himself. See how pnt up and restrained hefeels" then with a little push from Sam, the man reaches out and grabs her ass

"Ahh that's the fun stuff of life," he calls out as the waitress tins and slaps him

Amy gasped as he mentioned selling people to people. She couldve sworn slavery was over.. That's what charisma told her anyways! She gave a little smiled when he said he was joking then went into more depth on what he sold.

Her eyes widened as the man grabbed the waitresses ass. That didn't look very fun and how was he selling anything? He was over here, with her.

"Well I don't think depressed people are like that at all, they're just misunderstood!" amy explained. "And frankly, I don't see how getting slapped by a woman is fun stuff."

"Well your right, getting slapped isn't very fun at all. But did you see the way that the man enjoyed grabbing her ass. His indulgence in the chance tonfeel her firm tush in his hand. That fevered excitement of not knowing how she would react. He took a chance, and there was the chance that she would have liked it. If she had enjoyed it, simply smiling back at him ratherthen slapping him. He may have had a chance to make love to her. He took a rare chance for a sweet sweet sensation, if he had refrained he never would have known andthenfeel ofnher plump little ass in his hand might have been worth the slap to him" he told her with a knowing smile of his own innhis smooth, sharply angled face. The smile seeping into his deep almost jet black eyes

"Thats what I am talking about when I sell people. Taking the chance to find something that they have no way of being sure on. That gamble on a small loss for thenslim chance of a great reward. You can't tell me that you have never taken a shot at something, especially when the odds are not in your favor, but the payout is so delicious that you simply can't find out for certain unless you take that little leap. I guess you could say that I convince people to take that little leap. That one chance, that one toss of the dice. I think it might be something that you find yourself counseling your clients on really" he old her as he took a sip of his coffee

"By the way I am Sam" he said reaching a hand out to take hers. His firm hands wrapping around her small delicate one

"You have to tell me then, what do you hope to find here in the city, outside of your work of course, I mean what beings a beautiful woman like you to a place known to be so desolate at times" he asked as he took his hat off and ran his fingers through his short styled black hair

Amy considered the man's words. This was true, the human did take a chance and she supposed had a little hope that the woman would feel the same, and wasn't that what she stood for, hope...taking chances...believing in something. Perhaps the man believed the woman wouldn't take such offense. For what reason, Amy wasn't sure but she felt compelled to look at the man before her who had been teaching her these unique things about human.

Another rush of....something coarsed through her body. She had never felt this way before so she wasn't exactly certain WHAT to call it. All she knew was that she beginning to drown into those dark black eyes. Her soft brown eyes seemed to daze out for a few seconds until he finally introduced himself.

"I'm Amyt----Amy. I'm Amy. " She said her voice was soft and somewhat timid. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Amy then proceeded to answer his question, "My work brings me here. I was transferred from...up north.." North was going up...so therefore it wasn't a lie...

"So your from up north. I hope the heat hasn't bothered you too much" he said with a smile, wondering if he had been able to penetrate her innocence slightly

"i imagine in your work that you have to vet people to overcome their inhibitions to enjoy their lives as well. It's all about selling the possibility of a reward. Like that man may have been rewarded with a smile, or perhaps even something much more. Of course now he might be depressed since he was rejected, but he was confident enough to take the chance. Do you find your own inhibitions difficult to confront. Or do you have them mastered" he asked with a devilish grin of his own. Waiting to see if he might be able to push her own curiousity over her constraints. What he would give to soil this angel

"I mean really when was the last time you saw a sexy man and made a move, shedding your own inhibitions and casting fear of rejection aside?"

She could feel the depression radiating off the table the man was sitting at. For a minute she closed her eyes and let him feel some hope that the next girl he tried to hit on would accept him...if he were more gentlemanly. Her eyes opened slowly just as he was asking her questions.

"My...own inhibitions?" Amy asked. She didn't believe she had any inhibitions. She was an angel..close to perfect. " I..I believe so." She stammered unsure of herself.

His devilish grin sent chills down her spine.

"I mean really when was the last time you saw a sexy man and made a move, shedding your own inhibitions and casting fear of rejection aside?"

"I um...I'm not much of a ..." what was the word again, oh right. "flirt." She answered somewhat shyly. She averted her eyes.

"So there you have your inhibitions. I understand that there is always a time and a place but where there is a will there is always a way" he told her, smiling atthe way she searched for words, she was indeed new here, a fresh bi of heaven to soil. It was all he could do to not rub his hands together in anticipation

"You don't have to be a flirt. Just be forward. When you see aguy you fancy, give it a shot. Inwould love to see you shed your own inhibitions. I find it freeing to help someone shed a little fear and take a chance on life

"Oh?" Her curiosity got the better of her. "Why would my inhibitions interest you? We've only just met, have we not?" She gave him another breath taking, angelic smile that almost literally lit up the room.

She glanced at her watch and gasped. She was wasting too much time with this man.

"I-I'm sorry Sam but I must leave. I'm already late." She stood abruptly, "Thank you for the coffee...though it was rather disgusting."

"We have just met, but I like to consider myself a liberator of souls. If you must gonthen you must" he said as she smiled at him, she was beUtiful. Practically perfect and that made her all the more interesting of a conquest

"Well inhope to see you around again. We can continue our chat on our differing perspectives of the human condition" he said with a smile, rising as she did

"Well perhaps next time over a meal since coffee doesn't suit you. What do you think. Can I meet you for dinner. Getting to know you better might make my interest in your inhibitions a little more appropriate" he said with his most charming smile. Using all his own charm and compulsion to get her to agree. He wanted her before the sun rise tomorrow. Or at least henwanted to have begun to break her by then

Charisma had told her not to get thoroughly involved with humans, to do her duty so that she may leave when the time came. However, this man didn't seem so bad. He was actually rather nice. In fact, she didn't sense anything truly dark about him at all.

And when he smiled at her, her knees nearly buckled at the sight. He was indeed a handsome man. And though she tried to force herself to say no, she couldn't seem to get the words out.

The words 'no thank you' somehow ended up being, "that sounds lovely."

He swooned in success as she agreed

"Well perfect then Amy, why don't I meet you here tonight at seven then" he said as he walked aroundrhe table, slipping an arm around hertonwalk jer to the door, his hand came to rest
on the small of jer back and he forced curiousity inotnher nhe drove her inhibitions out and tried to fill her mind with a fevery curiousity that would have her thinking of him for the rest of the day. He doubted it would be successful but any bit that stuck would
be better then none

He walked to the door with her and turned in the opposite direction from where she was going

"Well until tonight then"

Amy shivered at his touch and her breath caught in her throat. If she had known he was a demon she probably wouldn't have allowed him to touch her for that meant dire consequences to an angel's purity.

However, she thought he was just a mortal.

His touch didn't affect her to the point that it would a human though where she thought of him all day however, little images of him popped in her mind, mainly his eyes..those dark gorgeous eyes..or his charming smile. That was it though.

So to say Amy was the slightest bit eager that night after sending many humans the gift of hope was an understatement. That evening, she slipped into a gorgeous white dress which again clung to her curves and didn't show too much clevage but enough to know that she was well endowed.

Amy walked downstairs and walked to the coffeeshop where they had agreed to meet.

He passed his days at bars and clubs. Getting married women to flirt with men and gettin the married women to fall for the guys at the Bars as they hit on them. Yet the whole time he was contemplating how best to approach Amy. Hencaught a cab back to the little coffee shop, as henstepped out his suit chnaces into a black on black with a brilliant red tie, a stark hat to match the attire. He saw her in the white dress and had to smile at the symbol of purity that hugged her ample curves, calling them to his, and any other mansa attention, his compulsion had worked somehwat

"Well well my dear Amy. You look wonderful. I must say I love that dress. You fill it out so well" the compliment meant to imply a sexual nature while remaining not entirely sexual. He took he hand in his

"Come now I know the best little Italian place, and it's not far. Tell me, do you like wine" he asked as the two headed down the street and around the next corner
