Hi everyone! (Frequent reader but never have left a post)

I have a strange - has this ever happened to anyone?

My boyfriend and I were engaging in safe sex and afterwards the condom went missing. After some panic moving of the sheets I found it inside me!! I've heard of broken or slipped but inside the female?

Please tell me were just not the lucky people to experience this.

We've had this happen once. Next time, make sure it's rolled down all the way to the base...double or triple check. If you're not on the pill or using another form of birth control, it might be smart to get the morning after pill/Plan B. Depending on where you live, it may be available in a pharmacy w/o a prescription, or you may have to go to the doctor or a family planning clinic like Planned Parenthood. I think there's good info on where it's available in each state at http://www.plannedparenthood.org . If both of you haven't been tested for STDs, you should get that done too. Better safe than sorry.

It happens all the time and it isn't necessarily about the wrong condom or waiting too long. Sometimes you can have a good fitting condom that comes off while the penis is still hard. It's just one of those risks of using condoms. They break, they tear, and sometimes they slide right off.

If you were on top and being particularly active that might explain why it came off inside you. I've had that happen a few times to me where we might have been playing a little before hand and the condom went on over slightly damp penis and when I got on top it just kind of slipped off.

My experiences:

Lubricated condoms are MUCH more likely to slip.
