It seems when I’m composing a lengthy post when role playing, when I hit submit, I’m told I’ve been logged out. When I do log back in, I cannot retrieve my post and it’s been lost. Does anyone have a solution or have experienced the same thing? Is there a way to save your work or perhaps extend the time you are logged in? Please pm me if you can help. Thanks

Just a thought, when I am doing a long post, I compose it in an MS Word file, then cut and paste it into the Lit window. That way, if I happen to have been logged out, I do not lose what I have written. And it is there for when I can log back in. A little clumsy, but I am a believer in saving my work somewhere!

The same thing happens when you write an extensive pm. I've lost several, but if you back arrow after you log back in, you can often retrieve your page.

However, for RP, the best option is to follow Stillrandy's suggestion. Avoid the possibility of losing your work all together.

Stop losing longer posts

Click the “remember me” box when you log in.

"Preview" the post often - that will save as you go. I'm not sure if it applies to the role-play forums, but it does work for all forums I'm familiar with.
