Omigod...The Lady of Shallot (?), Mummer's Dance,The Highwayman, The Swan and...hell, I forget the name of it.

She is awesome, DCL. A true storyteller.

Yeah, that one made me cry when we took it in English class in High School and when I heard her sing it years later..I was in awe.

And cried again!

The Lady of Shallot is good too.

I just sent Caly some of her stuff, I have loved her for years. Her voice is so haunting and melodic. and The Highwayman does indeed bring a tear to the eye.

I don't know how to describe it..haunting, ethereal, lilting? It kind of makes me think of how music sounded hundreds of years ago, does that make sense?

All I know is it's so soothing to listen to.

**sigh**

I like her so much I learned to play the harp. Excellent CD!

* edited verb tense. I think it is right now... but maybe not. Ah, fuck it.
*haha i missed a typo too! i suck.

That disc never leaves my car, her voice has provided much needed peace and tranquility during troubled times. Agreed the Highwayman is a phenomenal music adaptation of an old poem.

I've been listening to her for about a year now - great stuff! Really enjoyable and evocative.

I love her music! She is so very talented! All of her albums are awesome - very awesome. :rose:

May favorite tune of hers...

"The Old Ways", which my band in Madison covers. I just wish she wasnt so over-produced. I want to see her live and see what she sounds like.

Very good, I have Elemental and love it!

I love those Celtic Bands like Clannad and Enya.

Well, well, I'd never have pegged you as a fan of that kind of music..... Loreena came with us to the badly logged areas on Vancouver Island. She cried.
