Princess Arabelle and Prince Antar
OOC: yes I will play two characters, twin siblings, and heirs to the throne.
"Oh Antar, you are great fun" Arabelle giggled to her brother as she watched his playful mimicking of one of the Dukes. Antar, held his chest out and staggered around their small carriage, mocking the stern man.
"Well of course, my queen!" Antar puffed, he deflated with a mischievous grin. "Sister, that man is a menace and a insufferable bore, why must we visit him?"
"My dear brother," Arabelle grinned at him playfully while she fixed his unruly hair affectionately, "because our Empress Mother has decreed that we should view our land, see our people and suffer these long months on the road, we shall make it, after all we are almost done, darling!"
"Ugh" Antar groaned, and Arabelle was inclined to agree with him. They had been traveling for most of a year now and had seen almost all of their mother's holdings. In that time Antar and herself had become very close, not that they weren't already, but they had begun to share everything, including their lovers. Arabelle was always amazed at the inexhaustible nature of her brother, and even his dark side fascinated her. She stared at her brother for a moment taking in the long amber hair, his bright green eyes and strong form. Her brother, through princely had never acquired that courtly softness, that so many men suffered from after being exposed to the soft rich pursuits of court intrigue. She loved him very much, and he doted upon her.
"Sister, are we close yet?" Antar mused aloud. What would they find here at this lordling's castle? To be sure Lord Simons was held in great esteem by their mother, but he was a mysterious man a court, only making his appearances when "invited" to do or when there was war at hand. The country was pretty yes, but boring! Antar longed to be free of this trap and riding his stallion, but he wanted to be near his sister. he glanced over at her, she seemed seep into her thoughts. How he admired her amber hair, that curled beneath his fingers, or her bright green eyes, so like his own. She was lithe and strong and he admired her ability to be calm when he was all bluster or how her anger could flay a slave without a whip in her hand. He hoped that there might be some distraction at this castle, and some pleasure for them both to be had-before they had to return to the Court.
Antar stuck his head out of the carriage and immediately was addressed by one of their entourage; he told the man to send an announcer to the castle so that the Lord would be ready to receive them.
