I always think that my lost stuff is a metaphor for how my life is going, and when I am finally able to find everything I've lost I'll be very happy, or very bored. Very something.

Or maybe it's not a metaphor at all. Maybe I'm just a little scattered.

it's a sign of genius...you're mind is working so fast that it's already two steps ahead by the time you lay something down so you're not aware that you do it. therefore, lost items.

i do it all the time and i'm pretty sure it's a sign of genius.
