Two days ago we had a high of 76. Today we're having several inches of snow. Those rapid changes in temperature drive me crazy.

On a slightly related note, do any of you know if there is any way to tell approximately how high a fever you have, without a thermometer or another person?

Hmm..hard call there Jen unless perhaps maybe they're breaking out in a sweat..or the flesh is really hot to touch..normally can't tell on ypurself..but another you can guess maybe by your warmth and theirs....on the other question..not to bad thanks..ugh, you as well..hmm..guess Roze will be paying for this all..since she took all the blame on the weather changes. I'm waiting to hear we're gonna have tornadoes...its past the season but the seasons for them seem to be no longer ending.

Well good luck with the weather - it finally stopped snowing here, but it's still really cold. I've never been in a Tornado, but I don't think it's something I need to experience, so good luck with not getting one.

I went online and checked wikipedia for fever symptoms.. I had quite many. My boyfriend bought me a thermometer when he got home, turns out I had 103 fever. Ugh. I'm better now though, I went to the hospital this morning. Unpleasant at best.

I kinda like snow though if I'm all warm and cozy and don't have to leave the house

Remember: feed a cold and starve a fever...or is it feed a fever and starve a cold? On second thought, never mind. Just take your meds and feel better soon.

BTW, my experience with sitting out two tornadoes is that you definitely don't want the experience. I did get a chuckle out of seeing a full-sized Dodge pickup truck sitting atop the roof of a Chevy agency but, other than that, the whole scene was a bummer.

Thank you CC. You got it right the first time - you do starve a fever. I barely had anything to eat yesterday, and after reaffirming with my mom that it was okay not to make myself eat, I just drank a bunch of tea.

Yeah, I definitely called my mom at six in the morning (their time, it was eleven at night our time). She didn't mind though, and I just really needed to hear her voice at that point, and feel like she was taking care of me in some form.

I can imagine a tornado wouldn't be fun - just sitting there worrying about people and places around you. I've lived in the midwest for quite a while now, and luckily there haven't been any tornadoes yet. Back in Germany, we don't ever get them.

I hope everyone you knew was alright after those two tornadoes.
