Hello all and how are you today?? I am well --- thank you.

I am looking to edit stories for people to kill some of the everyday tedium that is in my life.
I have edited one series already -and loved doing it.
I have a good turnover time - you will usually have the edit back with-in 24 hours unless something major happens and then I will let you know ASAP that it will take a little longer

Feel free to PM me anytime and I will get back to you soon

Roze :rose:

I can tell you from personal experience that rozezwild has *the* most important asset for an editor: HONESTY.

Hey, look! This forum isn't completely and utterly dead!

If I write anything in the near future, I may consider you to lighten LadyC's load, since she is still injured, if that's okay. Thanks for posting :)

I'll keep your name in mind roze. Don't let me scare you away though, look at my signature. ;)

Actually...

I have a ton of stuff you can edit. Most of it simply isn't Literotica material. :S

This is sad... I edit everyone else's stuff... can't do mine to save my life.

So, PM if you're up for it, Roze, I'll fill in all the gruesome details.

Not that I'm an editor... but I think that's totally understandable.

What's funny is I am the Mer de Mal proclaimed Goddess of the Purple Pen, I beta read for a half-dozen people, and I edit everything any of my students (I teach riding lessons) have to submit to school for essays. :S And I can't find my own damn typos.

I think it may be a psychological thing. Because you know exactly what you've written, your eyes just skip over typos in word because you know what those words should be.

I throught everybody new that you can never sea the errors in you're own wrok?

You've answered your own question Jen.

Because you know what you want to say, your mind tricks you into believing that you wrote exactly what you meant to say so your eyes skips over it quickly without you noticing...that's why it's better to have someone else look over ones work.

Jen, you totally ignored the humor in that quote...!!!
Igored? No, I didn't ignore it. I'm just that dense. :D

(seriousy though, I did get it now  )

Could be snooper was poking fun at us editors ... or maybe he has what I like to call "the forest for the trees syndrome" where you can't see the mistakes for the words...lol

Could also be that he likes to act like a pompous ass from time to time and THIS was one of these times. :p

Could be. I don't know him, so I just assumed he was having fun... been known to do something like that myself from time to time...

Oh he probably was...at Jen's expense. :( Snooper is a nice guy, most of the time, but sometimes he acts holier than thou and gets on his soapbox for no reason.

Don't tell him, it's a secret...I have a soft spot for him :D

What did I do wrong (again)????

For those who don't know me, I was being serious in a light-hearted way. I have had fifteen novels published (for money!) and I have never yet submitted one to my (professional) editor without feeling like kicking myself afterwards at the silly mistakes she finds.

Oddly, I see most of them AFTER submitting the ms and BEFORE she points them out; sending it off seems to open my eyes somehow!
