It does have the appearance of a (tiny) mango but it doesn't really taste like mango nor pineapple, unless you like mangos very raw and sour.

On Koh Phangan - I love rave parties. I had the luck of finding the full moon party when it was still quite small. Now I am just back from a rave in Brussels. Yolo

It does not. But it gives information that helps me imagine you …. Thailand would give a different set of experiences than, eg, Vietnam. Big city would differ from countryside. Etc.

I think you are right on the commercialization - that takes the fun away. These things are good when somewhat underground. It gives autheticity. Last nights’ was in the tunnels under Brussels’ Cinquantenaire, which gives it a very industrial feel.

That I can relate with lived memory to one but not the other. Lets say you live in Bangkok, that allows me to visualize part of your lived experience. The smells, looks, etc. But:,lets assume you are from a smaller town in, eg,,Indonesia. I have never been there and would be curious on a different level. Or: we take it as a conversation starter and keep the mystique. There is nothing wrong with that obviously. So - I will not insist

Yes. ‘imagine’ - i think any conversation but especially virtual ones - hinges on the mental construct made of the conversation partner. Picture painted etc. this is fuelled by empathy imho.

Thank you. I appreciate your feedback. I am not offended, neither will I ghost you. That said, i would want to pose that the concept of status quo does not exist imho. Only the old band in real in that area
