My Father planted us a garden in the city before we were born. Brought n planted fruit and nut trees here in my city. We were raised on this what they call Adam n Eve diet. 90% of all our veggies, fruits and nuts were grown on half acre garden in the city. He brought the land next to the house. Garden in back, play ground up front. Me personally never suffered or had any of the childhood ailments. Not even pink eye. 58yo, last week, and still live a great life. I have 22 acres here in the city with a 1 acre garden, and 1 acre orchard. All of the veggies, fruits and nuts are grown there. Organically, N non GMO seeds were planted. All from people like minded like me.

That's great! We have a few fruit trees in our garden too, though not really common fruits so I'll share some pics in another post later on. I now also have pandan leaves as well as aloe vera.

What sort of veggies, fruits and nuts do you grow?

It's said that if you enjoy it, it's not work. 🙌🏻
Do you still do any of it now?
That's very true. I've always enjoyed sports in general, and being able to be such an active part was always a thrill.

I'm not doing much currently. Priorities change as one gets older. I did send an email to a sports organization just yesterday inquiring about a possibility for something next summer. We'll see if something comes out of that.

Haha noooo, not spicy at all.
Hot dessert with coconut milk (originally), then modified with some dragon fruits.
Aw I’m familiar with them! Different style to desserts I had growing up, but I’ve acquired a bit of a taste for them over time :)

Hello again you.
Glad you know it. A few ingredients (especially yam/taro) were missing, couldn't find suitable ones at the grocery store, so just went with what we had on hand.

What kind of desserts do you have?

Wow - Amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Which 3 types of apples do you grow? Is Pink lady one of them? (I eat only Pink Lady apples).

:) Oh hey there, you. I hope you’ve been having a fun time of late. And aww, I’m impressed if you’re making them at all! I’ve only ever had them in restaurants before so I’d be curious what the homemade version is like.

And ha,, I have a shocking enjoyment of sweet things.. ice cream, cakes, sweet treats like that - have got better and more disciplined in recent years, but from a very low base!

Homemade version is usually better, and healthier too! 😉

Lol ok.
Are there any special Scottish desserts that you'd make?

Also, your profile states an unpleasant experience - what happened? Safe forum here. 🙂

I make more than 90% of everything from scratch in my home. I mean everything. I don't box ready made. We came from the generation that cooked and baked. We they say it's made with Love, that's what Love means. You control all aspects in it. And yes, that includes ice-cream as well. Had churned to really have fun and show and tech younger generations where your food comes from. My sister n law is from the Filipino Islands, and she was impressed people here cook that way, and is somewhat widespread.

Just found this thread. I love to chat and I like a challenge. Soooo. I will address all points in the original scope of thread. Simply because I like the questions. About me: I am a Dutch guy, living in Belgium. 60+, rall, athletic. Am a scientist tryjng to make the world a slightly better place, love music and attend (perhaps age-inappropriate) rave parties. As an afterthought, I do like sex and chatting about it.

1. Have you ever met a lit-ster?
No, unfortunately not. Would love to, but this remains aspirational.
If you did, how did it go?
If you havent, would you?

2. Guys, if you send a PM to a woman, are you really expecting a reply or is it "no biggie" if she doesnt send you a reply? How do you feel?
It is both because I always have the risk assessment in my mind, knowing that the receiving lady might have a gazillion PMs so nothing personal. It is really nice to get a response and I want to make any PM like an actual empathic message. No monosyllabic sentences.

3. This probably happens with both sexes, but since I generally chat with guys, my question would be: why do guys lie when they chat online?
I don’t. I will always give you the real thing, is a matter of respect. If I do not want to share I just say so. Little point of making myself younger or other forms of self-deception

4. How has your experience on lit been? if you have any particular experience you'd like to share, please do so.
I love it. Mix of chats here, real conversations and different perspectives, and, yes, getting cyber-laid

5. Since I'm from South East Asia, have you been to this region?
Yes!!! My favorite. Thailand and Malaysia; Japan, China (counts as SE Asia? Maybe not). . I love the climate, the landscapes, the food, the railroad and bus travel. The contrasts. Two minor downsides: too much attention in Bangkok and spectacular food poisonings. I loved the full moon party on Koh Phangan.

Yes? Please share where you've been and what you liked/disliked about it.
No? Well, if you could, where would you go? Why that destination?

6. whats your best experience from lit? this could be anything from a story (tell us which one); a litster; a voice; a picture; something new you learnt about yourself; .... etc etc.
Meeting and chatting with people from such different backgrounds and the uninhibited nature of this. Realizing that the thrill of sex is almost universal.

7. tell me about yourself and what you'd like to chat about.
See my previous post. I like to chat about travel, food, music, dance.

8. have you ever been to a lit gathering?
No. But would love to. Did not even know about this.

Couple here traveling to Hong Kong next week for our first visit to the area. Have you been there? Any advice or must do’s?

Great! It's probably a dying art in today's world, perhaps not where you are but the rest of the world, where it's fast paced = fast food = processed food.
