i guess thats one spot we differ
i grew up in northern nh i like there to be snow on the ground in dec, not a summers day not saying it isn't nice in a way just odd and out of place in my mind lol

true enough... I swear, I am a young Jimmy Buffet...
I visited Key West over the Summer, I went for 4 days, ended up staying 2 weeks...
The same thing happend to me when I went to Catalina Island... Went for a week, wound up there for a month...
One day, I figure I am just going to visit some place like this and never come back. Or at least that is my dream...
Dont get me wrong, I love the Army. However, When I retire, Im finding the the beach, an umbrella, and my surf board...

lol well with it being winter i am the opposite, i'd want a thin or thick layer of snow on the ground, not super cold, but still cold enough to match the season. all the better for finding another person to cuddle up with, and find some...... interesting ways to keep warm ^_~
the rain i agree isn't the best right now, makes it too depressing.
however your idea of a perfect day is appealing in it's own way ^_^

Dont get me wrong, I love my snow board... I dont get to use it very often, but I do love it.
I guess If I lived somehwhere the winters were actually cold and white, I would feel Differently...
A good case in point, I Have spent several winters in Estonia and Finland. Very COLD there, and Lots of Snow. But I enjoyed it, because I was able to get out and about, and use my snow board etc etc.
I guess I really have a problem with winters here. No snow, but is cold and wet. yuck.

Did you go to Rivergate or just finish in H'ville? I finished shopping yesterday. Spent a couple hours in the office this morning getting absolutely nothing accomplished.
Now that we're both finished shopping, when are we exchanging gifts?
The Hustler store on Church St. and I-40 is open tomorrow just in case.

went to rivergate for an eye exam, and also a gift card to the car wash- for mom from my daughter-
3 year old on trip from ohio to tn + boredom +cookies +car window = do not mix.

rest was just a few things i grabbed in h'ville, just enough to fill a stalking since i couldn't find the nightmare before christmas in anything but the stupid $28 version >.<

I understand the 3 year old thing. My niece is about that age and it can be, shall we say, challenging at times.
