Good morning kiddies, how has everyone been this weekend? Behaving? I see I'm probably too late to wish EA a fantastic holiday, but the thought is there! I had a fantastic weekend, one that I'd like to repeat often. Lake Superior was ALIVE, I could hear it breathing in each crash of the waves on the rocks. It's amazing what I can hear at 3 in the morning all by myself with my thermos of tea, sitting on the cliffs, listening to the water. I'm pretty sure the black lab that I adopt when I go camping thought I was nuts, but let's face it, if she has spent much time with me, she already knows I'm nuts! Hiking was wonderful, I can feel the burn in my thighs which just means it was a good day. My kids slept like I'd made them run three marathons a day, which helped when I wanted to escape the camper and meditate by the water.

Fresh Meat, I hope you enjoy being with your parents this week, and I'm back, so let's get our flirt on! I loved IN's smut, smut, smut line! I've missed you guys. Anyway, I'm rambling, I've had a ton of coffee and a rested weekend so I'm ready to play!!

Hmm, you couldn't even wait until I was gone, could you? Must I point out again that I don't fly until this afternoon, and where else would I check in on my last morning before weeks of glorious abandon than here? The fun, the frippery, the foolishness and the avoidance of the F word make me smile more broadly than a bean in Norfolk reading about the Sargasso sea.

Anyhoo, how are we all? I'm just looking at my final two chores before I go, and thinking that things are working out ok. I can feel the stress falling from my shoulders like a gossamer coat. I've set the ball rolling for a shindig next May if any of you should find yourselves at a loose end. It will be a large and meandering party, taking place in a hotel and there will doubtless be around 50 or 60 unattached ex-servicemen available for your temporary or permanent amusement. INS will be there, as will I, and we aim to progress the party from get-together through shindig to full scale hootenanny very quickly.

You don't have Guy Fawkes on your side of the pond, do you? We'll be having yet another party on the 7th November where we shall be igniting large quantities of explosive powders in the name of a hysterical terrorist. Odd, the things we do for fun over here, but then you have Jay Leno....

Anyway, I must away. (did that sound far too much like a line from the three musketeers? Forsooth, we must away 'ere the sun lowers o'er distant mount and Richleau's foul minions attack) I have tigers to tame, virgins to deflower, riots to quell and earthquakes to settle. Well, in truth I have cocktails to drink, tigers and elephants to stroke, temples and grand palaces to visit and worries to cast away. I'll miss you all, please take care of one another for me. Ah I wish I could go back on the safari I went to about a month ago. I saw elephants, tigers, and a foot long monitor lizards. ( though didn't pet anything of course. Those were wild ones, and would have probably bitten my hand off ). It wasn't that much fun when a tusker attacked our jeep trying to defend its baby from out camera lenses, and neither when we got stuck crossing a river. Guess the jeep isn't made to float on water.

And wings welcome back. I'm here for two more weeks, and loving every minute of doing nothing all day . And if you think IN is smutty here, you should see her PMs. She makes me want to go back to school again

Well Ms N&T if'n ya needs ta discipline anyone, probably should be Effram, and what's ya' mean 'bout Disco Denny's advice. I mean true he spends a lot on dates, 'specially when he's down around 42nd st and Broadway there in NYC, (is'n the Orange Julius still there on the Corner, t'was about 40 years ago, an' I jus' had so much fun talkin' 'ta them good ole city boys 'bout all the girls they had workin' fer em an all.) an' Denny sure 'nuff seems ta' git himself some action there as well. An' INS don't cha be paying too much heed ta' these do gooders now, as'n we know Ms IN's intentions are good, not so sure 'bout Ms N&T, but I means they's girls an' all, and dang t'aint neither one of even kissed their father-son-cousin-great grandson-brother in law, no less married one of 'em far as we know, so 'tis likely their advice is suspect.

More like the road to Hog Waller..Isn't it John ? ( If a road leads there. I was told the only way in and out was through Effram. Those dang govt. people have been trying to build a road, but John and his buddies just keep turning them away, for fear that someone might escape the Waller )

Well near as we'all kin tell seems as if'n we can find Big Spings causin the Dollar General's there, an Cecil's and they say that thar In-ter-state goes plenty o' places if'n we could only figure out how's ta' git on it. An Big Bertha know's the way ta Logansport, ceptin I don't even think a Greyhound goes there no more, an of course yer right Effram knows his way around the sky's most places but he taint quite right in the head...so he can'ts tell no one. But indeed the pathway ta' Hell's sure rumored ta run through the waller

Well Ms IN, we all miss ya' during the daytime to, but'n we 'preciate alls ya do fer the learnin' o' our young 'uns, oh an the not so young 'uns too. An' it looks as INS is takin' Disco Denny's advice after all, as'n haven't seen him round since EA left fer the o-ri-en-tal back a' bit....hopes ya' didn't spends too much on them dates INS....Ms N&T says if'n they git too costly she'd happlily gives ya' a discount date with one o' her girls seeing as how yer all the way from cross the pond...

John....GO HOME. Wings, Ms. N&T, and I are on vacation to do some investigation into the best wines for our wine tasting and velvetta evening. We understand there are many cheap wines to be had over on this side of the pond.

Young fresh meat (aka HB) is showing us around, although anytime we look at him he darts behind a post.

EA left us behind to pet his tiger (hummmmm, not sure that is is the striped verson). I just wonder if it is the USA's equivalent to the female lower anatomy.

Finally, while I am pretty sure INS loves us three, because we won't put out he has left in search for respectable females to consort with. Well, honestly, Wings will but, oh and Ms. N&T will too, but not me, oh hell we all would, it is INS that won't give it up.

Hmmm, tractor pull accross the pond, don't think we could strap no John Deere ta' the crop duster but'n there's a few out o' stock Tonka Toys at the Dollar General Beefy might'n give us as a pro-mo-tion. 'Specht'n that might spruce up their afternoon teas a bit.
