No thanks, I've had enough Middle-Eastern Wars for one lifetime. Attacking countries because they have nuclear weapons seems like a bad idea. So does attacking a country with radioactive material.

To be very honest I do not think Iran is worried about the US. They are no fools. They know a direct conflict with the US would be disastrous for them. It would be for us too financially. They know as long as they show no aggression we will do nothing but continue to posture. A nuclear first strike would turn every nation against us.

Yup. I actually posted that before I realized that the OP said "stones" instead of "balls". If he had said "balls", it would have made more sense. Anyway, I really like the broth of matzo ball soup, because they put chicken schmaltz in it. To me, a chicken broth is useless unless there's a layer of grease on the surface. It's like the Exxon Valdez, only the bird is already dead.

They know as long as they show no aggression we will do nothing but continue to posture. A nuclear first strike would turn every nation against us.

The original tactical purpose of the atomic bomb was to combine the kilotons of a thousand long range bombers into one plane. WW2 bombers simply weren't accurate enough to efficiently destroy enemy assets.

Today we have micro precise missiles which can go anywhere and hit anything we want. There's no need to level a city in order to shut down enemy resistance.

The real problem is we start another war in a foreign country where there is no winning and we can't stay forever.
