Either PM me (here or Yahoo) or respond to this thread, we'll make a new one for the actual RP.
First off, non-consent (on the part of my character) is a key part of this RP, so read the rest of the post in that context.
Alright, most of my RP prospects for this sort of thing have gotten too busy to post and I've only piqued my own curiosity here. I've noticed trends in this type of RP that I find pretty annoying, and I'm curious to see if anyone can do it "right". Obviously, "right" is subjective and I'm aware of this, so if you really do like writing the sort of stuff I'm trying to avoid, good on you, I'm not saying it's necessarily bad.
Basically, I'm tired of the woman being the sex object even when she's supposed to be the dominant figure. It's just become tiresome and made the RPs very similar. . .the ones that have looked like exceptions are also the ones where my partner's pulled a disappearing act, haha.
This doesn't mean that your character is necessarily ugly, but that she's not really concerned with seduction. She should probably be capable of seducing him, but she wouldn't find it a necessary step--there's going to be sexual activity regardless of how happy he is about it. Another big part of it is that it would be eventual servitude/slavery, meaning that the sexual stuff, while key, would only be part of what's expected of him. I know this is in the sexual RP section but I'd probably burn out writing so much sex.
On to some ideas. . .
Modern: Listed first because it's the one I have the least ideas for.
My character recently awoke from a coma after ten years (poetic license!). Before that, he was in a band that people weren't terribly interested in. They became sort of critical darlings once he fell into the coma, so he wakes up to learn he's much "bigger" than he'd ever been before the coma, most likely because of that tragedy. While he was in that coma, he believed he was alive on a different world, one where he'd been building a new life for himself after being so suddenly thrown from his old one. Now he's thrown back again, except there's no easy place for him to fall into (all of his band members and friends had moved on from him, assuming that even if he woke up, his brain would have deteriorated and he wouldn't be the same person, so they'd done their mourning and don't know how to cope with his presence), so he's very lost, lonely and unhappy.
Anywho, that's just his modern concept, I'm up for ideas on how to work what I want into that. Obviously they'd be playing off of his vulnerability. The modern Nick is probably more open to this kind of setup, though he'd find it awful, than the old-era one that I consider my "default". Here's the actual idea I have. . .
Your character would be a hospital volunteer who had watched over him while he was in his coma, and came to feel very possessive of him. She had never expected him to wake up, so he would have always been there for her to talk to and things like that. When he did wake up, she might have been shocked and not sure how she felt at first, but she would soon decide that he was 'hers' anyway, that he had become hers. She'd step back and not make herself known through the time it took him to physically recover, working on an assumption that some essential part of him would recognize her even if she didn't. She wouldn't do anything to do with him until he'd left the hospital and moved in alone. Only then would she call him, suspecting he'd be alone (of course, she was all he had, right? ha-ha), and invite him to stay with her for a while. It would be a friendly gesture to someone who was lonely--there'd be no sexual implication, he'd be none the wiser until he was inside with her.
Old-Era (Own setting, default age of 33) This version of Nicholas is an artist, to cut it very short. He was married to a member of the governing council, and their divorce was so jarring that she moved away for some time, and he holed himself up. When he emerged, it was with a whole lot of material, some of them portraits of his ex-wife. Due to their beauty, women wanted to be painted by him, and within a couple years of his opening up shop, he became a pretty well-respected and successful portrait artist (with the rest of his work being woefully underrated/ignored as a side-effect).
The first idea is obvious, from that; she'd invite him over under the pretense of painting her portrait and simply not allow him to leave, making him do other things.
He could also be caught in the forest or mountains where humans aren't welcome and find himself enslaved rather than killed.
Your character could be a recently reawoken, summoned or resurrected entity in search of a home. She'd pick his because it's fuckin' gorgeous and decide that, rather than his owning it, it simply came with a servant/bedwarmer. How convenient!
He could just be hanging around a place and happened upon by your character, maybe a vampire or something, who just decides to have him, perhaps for shallow reasons, perhaps after recognizing who he is or otherwise learning of his talent.
Old-Era (Any non-Earth setting, Age 23) This is the version who died on Earth and woke up in the fantasy setting. He'd be new to the supernatural, and be in a really nice position to be taken away, since he has no connection to anyone at all.
He could wind up confiding in your character and she'd abduct him under the pretense of familiarizing him with the world.
He could sneak into your character's home, looking to take a bath, steal some small essential items, sleep, etc., be caught and held.
I didn't specify your character because I prefer working on that with any given player. And obviously these aren't the only possibilities, they're just scenarios that have crossed my mind. Feel free to offer more. I like brainstorming and have plenty of time on my hands. Thanks.
