I recently submitted my first story to Lit and have been rejected several times for dialogue punctuation. I have read the "How to Make Characters Talk" guidelines and made changes based on that yet have still been rejected. I am fully aware that dialogue is not my strong suit, yet this is becoming frustrating. I have read quite a few stories on here and it may sound arrogant but mine ranks above many of them, to be rejected for this reason really bothers me. I would like to develop a relationship with an editor who specializes in dialogue. Most of the stories I will post will fall in the Erotic Couplings category. I am open to any constructive criticism. I may be arrogant about my writing, but I am also intelligent enough to know I'm not perfect either.

the first thing you need to do is turn on Private Messages (PMs) that is the best way to get an editor.

Pm

go your User CP -> edit options turn on PMs, make sure it is not set to receive only from buddies or moderators, then go to bottom and save changes.

Details - flesh out the details, as in any narrative. <grin>

Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.
