Don't know the category (I'd guess NonHuman or Fantasy), don't remember the main characters' names. Young man, who is bullied at home, somehow (don't recall how) finds himself in an alternate world. Runs into a female orc, who (can't remember why) challenges him. Because she turns out to be ill, and he has some martial arts training, he is able to defeat her, which by her rules, makes him her master. I think she winds up being the tribe chief's daughter?
It's a fairly long series, talks about how he integrates with the orc tribe... eventually some other humans (girl and a boy IIRC) that he knows show up too... I recall an elf healer...
