There are a bunch of stories with similar ideas and some I have read. The story I am looking for may be a figment of my imagination.
The son becomes Man of the House, thru some situation. I think dad dies or leaves permanently. His mom is Woman of the House (because she is the oldest woman or because she was married former Man of the House) and either thru magic or hypnosis or something realizes that she must take care of the Man of the House and has sex with her son.
