Looking for help with stories

I am contemplating continuing to write about stories based on experiences with my wife and I. Rather than going back and forth with rejection, mostly quotes, I am wondering if anyone helps pit with this in their free time. I think it might help me down the road.

As long as they are not "war and peace" in length, I could take a read. Can you let me know roughly how long each is, and what the genres are likely to be?
