We've got an emergency family situation we need to respond to, so we'll be offline for a few days. We have someone very close to us that took a pretty serious turn, and we need to go be there.

In ways that I don't really understand, the friendships she is cultivating here are very significant to her right now. I'm simply enjoying new friends here and I like hanging with you, but it's a little more meaningful for her. Lexi's time with many of you brings her a rapport that she hasn't had since college, and it's very special to her.
