Actually, it was fortunate that I stayed up to play a little on Lit last night. Because I was up, I heard the water and caught it quick. Was able to stop the progression before it got too bad. It only got a little bit of the carpeted area. Still it created a bunch of work in the storage and utility rooms, but thanks to plastic bins, not much real damage.

I'll admit that nights like this are just what I need after sitting at work all day long.

Glad to hear you got it early and avoided a disaster! We just recently converted our basement storage into plastic bins rather than cardboard boxes. Thank goodness you had plastic!
