Hello,

So I am looking for an editor to have a look through the story I am working on. Basically it's a story of the complete breakdown of a girl. Currently it's based on an older role-play from the yahoo messenger days. Angel enslaved. I am not sure I want to go with non human would like some input because it will need changed a bit.

Basically, you would need to be cool with being tossed into my demented mind. The story is about enslavement, torture, rape, non-consensual engagements. The capture and breakdown of a person. Their training and how they are re-purposed. It's not going to be for a light of heart.

So if anyone is interested in having a read. The first three segments are complete. Depending on how I want to split them. This will be my first piece submitted to LIT so I am unsure how the paging system works however it's currently. 16 pages at 12 pt font.

Again if you think your interested please contact me, if you read it an are not interested no problem.

I hope the first thing your editor does is to tell you non con and BDSM are two very different things.

BDSM people like myself are tired of being portrayed as rapists.

We are also sick and tired of people using BDSM as an excuse to rape and torture a person and call it erotica.

What you're describing is abuse and torture porn. Not a consensual lifestyle, which is what BDSM is. The sub gives full consent.

So long story short stop using BDSM as your lame excuse to write your sick abusive fantasies. At least have the stones to own your rape story for what it is.

Too bad Castro from Ohio hadn't killed himself, you could have written him for advice because your story description is exactly what he did to those three girls

Sexy isn't it?

There are several reasons I don't have the BDSM category selected in my editor profile. I don't mind editing light BDSM stories, but when the writer brings other themes into the story, like Non-Consent, it's not something I want to edit or read.

Also, I think bdsm, like any other theme, may be written more by those who don't have any personal experience, and stories for the most part are just that, stories. Or maybe the author's fantasies. Who knows?

The tone of the story, though, should be taken into consideration. For example, an author tells an editor his story is about a male vampire who only drinks one blood type and has a fetish for redheaded women, but the story shows how the vamp likes to sample occasionally from other blood types. The author didn't mention humor or blood samples in his premise, but the story shows the vamp sublimating himself to get the blood samples he wants, and Murphy's Law kicks in, making for some humorous reading.

After recently reading part of a story that was promoted as BDSM and incest, I turned the story down and told the author what I read wouldn't be accepted on Lit. (I didn't want to edit it either). I don't usually edit incest, but the initial storyline the author gave interested me.

When an author presents a story to an editor, he/she really needs to be specific about what themes are prevalent in the story and what the sex scenes are. He/she also needs to become familiar with Lit's submission policies before searching for an editor and before submitting a story. I'm speaking in general. Not pointing fingers. There are writers who don't take the time to learn what Lit will and will not publish until their story gets rejected.

I hope this isn't jumbled. I'm in a hurry...
