have drafted ... baseline gay/ brother-brother incest; with best friend as optional focus for story. I include in my drafts what I deem is but a generous serving of humor.

At the very least, I need to know if this whole draft sucks....as I keep my day job...

Even if it doesn't suck (and I'm sure it doesn't), you shouldn't give up your day job. Even most successful writers have kept a day job. And it takes a long, long time to become a successful writer (monetarily).

SR is correct, as he usually is. I have published two stories commercially and if I added up the proceeds from both I wouldn't be able to make a single house payment, car payment, whatever. Maybe I could afford to splurge on a few drinks at a bar with a decent tip.

But something tells me this isn't what you're asking. Gay male isn't my "thing" so to speak so I can't assist. Perhaps there are others out there who are willing.

Don't be discouraged. If you're writing then you are probably meant to be, it's in "the blood" so to speak. I have the same desire. Don't think I'll ever break into a professional career, I'm not that good, but that doesn't keep me from writing. I have to. Maybe you're the same way.

First, THANK YOU for you even responding to my post. My comment about the day job was purely meant to be interpreted as a laugh, which I find, much to my chagrin, you and others...took it literally...No this is merely a draft I have done; I only want to see if these silly pages are possibly worthy of potential publication on this site. And after much reflection, Monk, my best friend, is the chosen one...
