Looking for editing help for my short story

Hey everyone thanks for checking my thread and hopefully I can get some help. I submitted a story and was denied because it couldn't be submitted in it's current form. From surfing the threads I take that to mean I need more editing. Myself and my girlfriend both edited it our selves before I submitted it, but I guess we both suck at editing lol. If someone would be willing to look it over and help me out I'd much appreciate it.
This is my first time doing this, so I'm not exactly sure how to go through the process. Meaning, I guess I email you the file or something, I have no idea. Yes, I am a newb and never really used a discussion board before, so this is a little confusing for me to navigate. Thanks for the help everyone.

P.s.
I forgot some details of the story lol. The story is over the 750 word limit to be posted and it follows all the legal obligations, no under age or bestiality and such. It goes into the Reluctant sex category about two students at school. Um, not sure what else to mention with out telling the story lol. Thanks

First, you'll need to be able to PM others. Here are the directions:

* To switch on your Private Messages, go to User CP (top left of this page), click on Edit Options (in the left hand column), and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally, click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.



You mentioned the story is over the word limit, but a more accurate count would help.

Thanks Lynn, I just turned on my Pm's and my total word count is 5,574 words. Part of that includes my little intro that some authors do so its really closer to 5,500-5,530.
