Looking for an old story involving wrestling and youth emancipation - Erotic Couplings

I have forgotten the author's name and the title of the story and am looking for some help. It is the story of a high school wrestler that lives alone/is emancipated (and has some psychological/social issues) that finds romance with a tennis playing, wrestling team manager and finds a new family with hers. Her father is like him, psychologically; the MC has issues with dealing with others, including his teammates. It is at least 8 or more years old.

Anyone have any recollection of this one? Even the author name would help me track it down.
