* There is research is being done on some alien plant in secret. This is written from the point of view from a lead researcher.
* A female researcher slips up and is caught by the plant which plants a seed in her. She is studied as a subject instead of rescued.
* The point of view shifts to the woman in the second part of the story, where she is later rescued by a doctor after some time.
* He tries to help her get over the trauma and they eventually both escape from the research facility in an action-packed scene.
It was a pretty long story with many pages, but not split into a series. Thank you in advance.
