I have no experience writing fiction. I have a great deal of experience writing for business purposes, policy papers, performance evaluations, professional communications, etc. I realized as I was writing my story that I struggled with drawing out the salient elements of the character's history, and crafting dialog. I am also embarrassed to say that the first time I published I missed a great deal of errors, so many that I republished my first story. So my first goal is to get some help with proofreading and my secondary goal is help with character development. Any help would be appreciated.
