I'm looking for the story of a couple who are currently separated because he's convinced she's cheating on him and she's convinced he's cheating on her with his colleague. At the company party, he realizes that he was actually the one who made her doubt him.

Thanks, but that's not the story. Other things I remember are:
- the couple has been together since high school.
- during the company dinner, a friend of his and his colleague tells embarrassing stories about his adolescence.
- she confronts the woman he thinks is his lover, dressed super sexy, and when he sees her coming home, he thinks she's out to cheat on him.
- at the company dinner the year before, she flirted with others to get his attention.
- he ends up saying something like, "I just wanted what they have." "We all do"

There's no story currently on the site with "I just wanted what they have" and EDIT: there are hundreds with the string "We all do" but when I added keywords, none seemed like your story.

I tried some variations and some keywords. Do you recall any other very specific details? Like was their a unique element to the embarrassing stories? He had a frog in his pocket, or whatever?

The embarrassing story is: One evening, she's alone because her parents have gone out, and he goes to her house. As they're starting, they hear her parents returning because her father has hurt himself and is sitting in front of the door of the tavern where he's locked himself in. To get out, he calls his friend, who shows up with other boys and girls with the excuse that they have a science project. Her father doesn't notice that more people are leaving than have come in. And the next day, to keep up the excuse, they build something.
