I read a story not long ago but now I can't find it again. It was about 2 girls that were best friends, one got cancer a couple times. Her family moved away, both girls were devastated. Fast forward several years and one finds the other one, they reunite. She ends up being engaged but it's just a show because she's broke. They end up moving in together and falling in love.
