Can you have under-18 characters who do not engage in sex? I don't think I have come across a story yet that does.

You can have underage characters but they can’t be involved in or witness anything sexual.

I'd guess you found the story that you are looking for on another site and you would have to use Google. It would help if you recalled any specific detail like the site and 1-2 of the character names or any other similar detail.

You can have underage characters but they can’t be involved in or witness anything sexual.

Throughout the many years I've read stuff here, there have been two stories where the main character has witnessed sexual acts and has been underaged prior to actually being 18 and having sex. The two stories were Soul71's The Nordward Family and daemonrunner's "The Librarian".

In both instances, the main character ends up leaving their family behind when they learn that their father/parents hate him and he feels they will be better off living alone.
