Looking for a series

I know, I know, yet another "I'm looking for ..." post. I have used both the search feature and Google and can't find this series anywhere. I'm afraid it might have been taken down, but I figured I'd post here and see if anyone knows the title of the series.

The series is basically about a male astronaut who crash lands on a planet of only females. They don't know what he is, but the first woman he sees takes care of him, he ends up meeting her mother, appearing before the council, etc, etc. He impregnates both the mother and daughter, and I can't remember who else. Anyone know the particular series I am looking for?
