Looking For A Movie Title

I have searched IMDB extensively, but it doesn't help that I can't remember who was in it, or when it was actually made.

It's the story of a man, and his boyl on his neck/shoulder. He talks to it, and it talks back. Near the end of the picture, it grows into a second head, and swallows the first, taking over as controller of the body. It's just the same actor with a new and more smarmy look, but it gives the impression that he is indeed someone new.

anyone have any idea what this movie was called?

While I am at it, I might as well ask about another movie that I don't remember the title of.

It was an 80s animated movie with hampter-looking people in the future. They were really into music and there was stuff going on... I know, not very detailed. I think I only saw it once or twice when I was very young...

OMG!!! I remember that movie(the boil one), and nobody I've ever mentioned it to has seen it. It must've made quite an impression on me, because I've always remembered it and make references to it once in a while.

Yes, that appears to be it. Not at all what I was expecting the title to be, but in the end I have found it thanks to your help. *hugs*

Now to remember long enough to tell my mother and sister who have been asking me for the name all last week, as if I can remember after seeing the second half of it once...
