I really don’t remember the early details. Wife cheats, husband dumps her. They have at least one adult daughter. She’s not happy with mom - sides with dad, but later understands that mom made a mistake and wants to get back with husband.
At some point, husband is hurt and ends up in the hospital. Wife tries to see him, but he bans her from finding out anything about him. His primary nurse is attractive and sympathetic to him. When he’s going to be released he will need constant care for a few weeks at home. Wife is hoping to be his caregiver. Instead, the nurse takes weeks of vacation time to be his caregiver in his home. She is obviously falling for him, and he for her, but in the hospital, she gave him a speech about patients falling for their nurses and it never works out so he’s a little oblivious to her love. He upsets her at one point. She leaves. Daughter tries to talk some sense into him. Nurse comes back and lists off all the reasons why he’s an idiot. They acknowledg they love each other. Happily ever after for them.
