Looking for a Loving Wives story

I posted this in the General Discussion thread, but someone suggested I posted this here as well. As the title obviously suggests, I need some help finding a story which I read a while back which I naively neglected to bookmark. For the life of me I can't recall the title or the author, so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The story was, probably, in the Loving Wifes category as best I can recall. The main premise of the story was a Husband who agreed to let his Wife pretend to be the Fiancée of one of their Bosses. The Husband went so far as accompanying the Wife and Boss to the event, but he was drugged and unable to voice his concerns or resist as the Boss told him his evil intentions. The Wife even replaced the Husbands wedding rings with the ones the Boss had given her for the weekend. The bosses' men, his "goons" I believed they were referred too, physically restrained and assaulted him, eventually locking him in a closet to prevent the Husband from interfering. Until the weekend was over.

One the day the Boss, Husband and Wife were leaving the event, the Husband was walking to his vehicle when the Wife returned to him, obviously concerned but taken aback by his newfound anger towards her. They rode back in silence. Unless I am crossing my wires with another story, I believe the Wife ended up losing her mind and shooting the Boss, and he ended up in a conscious but vegetative state as the Husband eventually returned to taunt him.

Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe there were at least 2 or 3 parts/chapters, but I could be mistaken.

Now I am intrigued. Searched 'goon' came up empty but only 7 pages of results which I went through. Looking for more keywords. Boss is a terrible keyword that returns 1600+ pages of results which is too many to count. Goon returns 7. I looked advance searched in LW, Novellas, Mature, and EC.

Approximate timeframe of publication? Did you read it when first published?
What kind of event? Any more keywords about what the event was? Where was it, what kind of venue?
Any special events before the 'event' like a concert or something.
What did he drink? Sometimes stories get very detailed on the alcohol consumed.
Were there intermediaries between the man and his boss?
Was the name of the drug mentioned?
Any specific injury location when they beat him?
Any details of the shooting scene?
Written by one of the 'BIG' authors like No Talent Hack?
Was the story this solely from the male perspective?
Were there details of her nights with him?
Counseling afterward?
How much buildup? vs time at the party? vs. agonizing his wife cheating? Vs after the weekend. Looking for rought percents IE all about the after affects or not?
