Look where I get to go for my Honeymoon/Christmas vacation

We decided we are taking a three week December vacation. 2 weeks in Ireland and one week in England. We just booked a Christmas three day stay here:

We booked the Red Room yesterday.
After that, we are staying in Donegal. We have picked out a cottage to rent from a company we used on our last trip. A thatched cottage on the cliffline in the most remote town in the county.

Envy me. Oh yes. Envy me.

Envy would be there for any time other than Christmas. But wild horses couldn't get me away from being with my family on Christmas. The closest I've come is starting a trip on Dec. 26th, but that was more than 25 years ago.

Sorry, that explains it then. In that case, if I had no family to be with, my tradition would probably be to always try to be away on vacation during the holidays.

BUT, you'll be married soon and maybe have your own family to begin those traditions with in future years.
