I'm not a person who likes to blow his own trumpet as (a) I'm British and therefore modest and reserved and (b) I'm unfortunately not flexible enough but look what I've done! :nana: :) :D   Is there an awards ceremony, should I rent a tux? ;) If there was a ceremony this would be my acceptance speech -

This story is dedicated to a truly talented and beautiful woman who made me write and write so I could show her in written form how much she inspires me and how much of a muse she is to me. Thank you my love... :rose:

Congratulations ManRay, thanks for sharing this, you should be proud!

Jolly good show. Hard for writers and artists to accept their own work as worthwhile even when others do so enjoy your moment.

Well, I had contacted Reuters and the BBC but they declined to put it out as a major news flash! The poets and writers that post on this particular forum I regard as talented and clever and thus I wanted to share my moment with them so yah boo to you! :p

I was refering to the fact that this is the poetry forum. That, if you wanted to share your moment, you should probably try the Author's Hangout, where many of the story writers are. But if you want to be a sarcastic ass about it, that's no skin off my nose.

Congrats! That's great. And it's nice that you, a fellow poet, was thoughtful enough to share this good news with your friends here. I'll be sure to check the story out. Now, go write some poetry! ;)
