I think part of the problem is the way lit is set up with the quote being the easiest response. Someone hits that to leave their comments so they stay in context. They are more interested in making the comment then in not reposting the picture.

I realized like a week ago that there's a way to protect against that. If you place the image in a quote when you initially post it, when people quote your post the image won't be included in theirs. They'd actually have to go out of their way to include the image. I started doing that and it's worked well
