I'm just curious. What is the longest you have spent chatting with someone online? I had the best day yesterday just chatting. We spent 14 hours talking. It was not continuous, there were quiet moments but neither of us signed out of kik all day. Just wondering if anyone else had done this. Yes, I know. I need to get a life. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I've spent 8 hours during the day hanging with someone in a video game on voice/video chat and then another minimum of 4 hours chatting on the phone in bed. Did that for a few years before the sessions abated. Now he's working more.

I once stayed up all night chatting with someone who was going through some major shit. I was so fucking tired by the end that when she finally said she was signing off I just crashed the fuck out. That was like seven hours. Jesus, it was taxing. I did it because she was a close friend who needed someone to talk to that night (Let's just say she was in a very bad place.) and I would do it again if I had to but holy Christ! It's a minor miracle I was even coherent by the end of that.
