Long Sig Lines

New here as member. Old time lurker. Second post (posted first in Pics section by error)
My question is how many of you really enjoy and appreciate the really long sig lines that take up an entire screen and more?
Some people answer every post by anyone with a seperate post that's only a word or two or a single sentence. They'll put five to ten posts in a row and take up an entire page of a thread.
It takes forever to scroll through the same old sig line to read that word or sentence.
Some of their comments are interesting but the effort doesn't seem worth it.
I put them on 'Ignore' now even though I may have enjoyed their remark. Some seem very nice people.
I'd be interested in hearing your opinions.
Is their desperate cry to say "Hey! Look at me?"

You can opt to not see sigs on screen you know......go to your user profile and check the relevant box

I know what you mean... sometimes I even ponder if mine is too long, but I like it. It would be nice if someone was going to post on another person's thread repeatedly that wasn't their own, that they check the little box NOT to have their sig posted with it.

There has to be a happy balance. I think it is nice to see a saying or two that means something to someone and then links to stories or pictures for that person is good in case I want to learn more about them. There can definitely be too much.

That is an excellent thought! I believe it is also the primary reason for Sig Lines. Such thinkers deserve to get lucky tonight. I hope she's a beauty

Awww... I liked your quotes and reference. See? I don't complain about anyone being reasonable. It's mostly those that that are two screens full or more and Lit has more than a few of those. It's like that chocolate... too much of a good thing is just... too much.
