So I'm bored and thought I would get some opinions. And yes I could do a poll. but I so couldn't be arsed.

What I am wondering is what peoples opinion on hair length is, for both gals and guys.

Do you have a preference for long or short hair? How long is too long and how short is too short?

Personally, I am a fan of long hair on both guys and gals, as long as it is in good condition. There is no such thing as too long, on either sex, to my tastes, and on guys no such thing as too short. On gals though, anything shorter than shoulder length is short in my opinion.

And for those with long hair, at what point does the inconvenience out weigh the enjoyment of it? My hair is halfway down my back, and it just starting to pull on my neck if I leave it out for too long, and sometimes annoyingly tickles the inside of my elbows. I am aiming for hip length though and am pushing myself through the annoying tickley stage, and making sure I stretch my neck often to help with the pull of it. I actually just realised the last time my hair was this long, I was spending a lot of time going to concerts and headbanging in general. Maybe all of that was actually better for my neck than I thought, or the other possibility that I caused some damage with all that headbanging.

Told ya I was bored. :)

Long hair usually.

Some women look good with mid length or kind of short hair though.

I don't give a fuck how men wear their hair. I suffer from male pattern baldness so my options are limited.

"Short-haired woman" is a search i often do on porn sites.

Also; "lesbian grandma", and "outdoor forced feeding"

Depends on the shape of your face.

If you're willing to post a face pic, I can provide you with a more informed opinion.

hahaha
I know I look good with long hair, but that wasn't the question.

The question was what's your preference?

You can smudge out your features if that's too much of a reveal.

I have no preference. Both have merits and drawbacks. I'm more of a tits and ass man.

I prefer longish hair for both men and women

I have straight, waist length hair myself

Who doesn't like tits and arse? :p

And, nah , that all sounds like to much effort for an opinion I don't really need. As I'm fond of reminding myself this year, it is none of my business what you think of me. :)

I wonder if feministic men prefer short hair in general. Obviously, I don't fit that, but it seems plausible.

If it helps, you seem nice. Bit of a tortured name, however.

Nice. Mine has just hit the below my bra strap point and that is where it starts to get long. It's also the point I usually get the shits with it and chop it off, but not this time! I will achieve hip length hair!

I just had about 4 inches chopped off, I tend to keep the length around my waist.

Does it suddenly feel short?
I don't like large chunks chopped off my hair, unless I have the shits with it and am getting rid of it. I actually trim my own hair - partially because it's free, partially because finding a good hair dresser is about as hard as finding hens teeth - and only take a few mm of every 8 weeks. I try to do the same for hubbies hair, his a little longer than mine, but it doesn't happen quite so often. Our son refuses hair cuts to a distressing degree and has hair to his shoulders now. I try to trim that as much as I can. Out of the 3 of us, he has the most gorgeous hair, it often draws comments.

One word: Leash.

For the record, I had long hair for years. I didn't get a haircut at all from 2005 through 2011.
