Hi,

I'm Emma, 20 year old blonde student at uni in London, been involved in the nsa scene for a little while, and decided to start writing down some of my experiences (with some names changed to protect the guilty!)

I'v written my first piece (it is cuurently "pending" and has been for a few days), I'd really appreciate any help/advice on how best to write these things. I enjoyed writing it all down - helped me relive the experience.

I have many more encounters to write up too!

If anyone is willing to look through my first effort (which may go live soon, but I could email it to you before that), please let me know!

Thanks,

Emma

As an old prof, I'm always willing to help a student in any endeavour. I am, however, a bit surprised to find that some uni in London has a category of student "20 year old blonde."

It tempts one to make a clichéd joke, of course, but I wouldn't at a new writer's expense. Having read some of their Master's theses, I'll just offer that you're matriculated at the LSE.;)

I should ask Laurel if I can change my nick to "HotWillingBigBoobedNymphoWithLegsThatNeverQuits21". I've got a feeling it would do wonders for my popularity...

Of course they have a blonde faculty at the London University. Do you think people are born blonde?

Oh wait...

I hadn't thought of that reading of the text; very astutely PoMo of you, StrangeLife. I still expect it would be the LSE, though; UCL is beneath such things. I wonder if any of the profs have gotten into Post-Blondism?

The key is the 20. I just watched a student, who had nothing better to do when she finished her work, take 12 minutes of selfies. Earlier today I saw a different student take no fewer that 6 selfies. This generation is pretty concerned with people knowing what they look like at any given minute.

ETA: contrast that with my high school photo albums. All I have is pictures of my friends' hands hiding their faces.

It's what you get when you teach self-esteem* rather than humility.

* self-esteem noun. An erroneous assessment.
