I don't think the olympic committee could of made a better choice. Let's see Chirac everyone in London send Chirac some of that excellent English cooking so he can choke.

What will the mascot be? :)

If they make Lou the mascot, I will be starting a new collection addiction....

Tatelou buttons, Tatelou posters, Tatelou plush dolls...

Bravo! Although, homesick as I am for the place, I can't imagine going to London and spending my time watching sport. Not when the Cheshire Cheese, the British Library, St. Paul's, Westminster Abbey, and the Tate are still standing. Still, might find time to squeeze in a round or two of televised viewing, so long as it's done from a pub.

*sigh*

How I miss the old place.

Are you kidding me? By 2012, rugby 7s will be part of the Olympics. Anyone who wants to meet up, summer of 2012, I will buy a big Literotica round at a bar in Twickenham.

You may be right. I heard today the Olympic Commitee deep sixed softball and baseball and will replace them with two of five sports, one of which was rugby.

If you show up in the same attire as your AV I just may buy a plane ticket.

I know the feeling. I only spent two weeks there over the New Year's holiday back in 1989 (or was it '90?), but I could've stayed forever. You'd find me in most of the museums as well, but also hanging out at Forbidden Planet and hitting the kiosks for cheap theatre tickets. (Mostly the smaller venues, but I'd prolly have to hit the West End now and then. <g>)
