I'm surprised that Mind Control gets so much action although I know that Incest is popular. On my stories, Anal also gets a lot of views. E/C probably gets more total views than any other category but there are so many stories that no one story gets much attention. Romance probably gets the least, and that is the one most about love.

I have to agree. My Latest post, "Jessica's in Charge" in mind control already has 16500 views. And it's only been up 2 days.

Out of curiosity, I checked on what I have done this year.

One incest story: 30,260 views in three mos.

Two anal stories: 35,846 views in three mos. and 18,225 views in 1 mo.

One first Time: 14,545 views in one mo.

Erotic Coupling: six stories totaling 48,609. Average: 8,105.

Romance: 14,953 views, but this was the Val. Day entry.

I have a Mind control story in progress and I think I will speed it up a bit.

Poetry, mine at least, is much less popular than stories.

My Romance story actually has decent views and votes. However, my Erotic Couplings story, which has probably been out a little less than a week is not getting much attention. It has an awesome rating, but it only has 6 votes (linky in my siggy in case you want to read it... Lust Requited) and not many views yet either. The anal story (Fuckslut) has gotten almost 50 votes already and it was posted the same day as the prior story.

My best stories as far as number of votes/views have been my one out of the ordinary Incest story and my Nonconsent story. The anal story is quickly closing on on their numbers.

My Earth Day story has alot too, but I attribute that to winning the contest. The number of votes the story had more than doubled within a couple of days after the winners' announcement was made.

Obviously, the majority of views/votes were received shortly after the story posted. I think it's funny how the Romance story only has a little more than twice the number of views of the Erotic Couplings story, but it has a high number of votes compared to the EC story. You can tell the Non-Consent story was the most popular by vote number and views.

I would like to get votes the way you do. The one incest story, posted Feb 6, has now had 30,276 views and 69 votes. The oldest anal story has 100 votes, the most for anything. The newer anal story has 62 votes. My First Time story has 72 votes.

The biggest disappointment for me is a E/C story that has been posted for over three months and has only 2,364 views and 12 votes. Since it is now listed as Hot, it might start getting more.

Some of my first E/C stories have now crept up to the point where they have gotten 20,000 or so views, in about a year.

But actually that one has almost as many votes as one that was posted about a month ago, in the same catagory. So who knows?

You know, don't you that 26,000 views doesn't mean that 26,000 people have read the story. Some of them may have looked at a story, decided it was too long, and passed on it without reading anything. Some persons may read one paragraph and when nobody has undressed yet, they stop. Others may have started to read a story, wanked or frigged, got off and stopped reading. I like to hear from that last kind of viewer but most people don't vote or write a PC unless they finish the story.
