Just did a search in SciFi and was kind of surprised to find no results. As one of the better flicks of the time featuring Farrah Fawcett and Jenny Agutter in futuristic skimpy outfits, I figured it must have inspired somebody.

Seems like there could be all sorts of story lines here.

Got it. Unlike in the movie, they actually are able to save Box's victims. One of them is a MILF. Logan is mystified by the thought of an older woman and she soon finds she can have her pick of any of the society's males.

I just think there could be a lot more interaction (blackmail, trading of favors, etc.) between the Sandmen and the Runners.

eh, I don't know.

The effort vs. reward balance is too much on the former. The runners can't hide when their time has come, so blackmailing would mean hiding them out in the sandmen's quarters...quarters which allow them to dial-up a partner for sex whenever they want, so even if they traded sex for safety, they essentially couldn't get anything out of it that they couldn't get already -the risk of being caught and killed.

I loved that movie. It's been so long since I've seen it though that I'm stumped for ideas. I mainly remember how hot Michael York was.

I love this idea. She would start out as mystified and innocent, thinking that the attention was just due to her age, but she's finally seduced by one of the young men and the flood gates open - men and women alike.
