Locked out: no password, no email

Help!

I tried to use a proxy site to get onto Literotica, & I got logged out of my account. I didn't know the password, so I did the reset. But that email account had been shut down!!!

How do I prove my identity & get the webmasters to send my reset to my new email?

Writing to support@literotica... not one reply.
Contact page... no reply.
I've just contacted Laurel, as a forum poster suggested elsewhere. (& I was courteous, as they also suggested!)

Any other ideas?

The locked account is ReefBeach.

I've got three stories about to finish, but being locked out is really putting me off my writing. Please help!!!

I started over a month ago. Wrote to Laurel today.

I'm writing story series. Of course I can copy over my stories to the new account (don't worry, you won't get a complaint!), but I'll lose the comments & the favourites, which feels rude to the community.

Primalex, I want an opportunity to prove my identity, not just say, "it's me" eg. I'd been very active before that. Send a message, see if you get an answer. Ask me about secret info. Whatever.

Do you mean to say you forgot your password and your registered email doesn't work?

On any account, when you change your email address, your password is changed and an email is sent to the new email address with the new password. If that email no longer exists, lock out.

There are other events that might trigger the email check, but I don't know what they are off the top of my head.

The same thing happened to me back in 2006. Luckily, I could still access the story account, just not my BB account. What I did is delete all the stories I had under that account and reposted them under my current account. I really didn't care about the comments or points.

I would bet, if you PM Laurel with the list of stories you now have posted on the other account, and the email that is all f'd up, she might reset that account or switch you stories over to your new one. Maybe. If you're polite.

Lots of people know it. (And Lovecraft68 knows why I did it.) I think family tag teams should be known when they are tag teaming here, yes. If you don't, you can stick it where the sun don't shine, as far as I'm concerned. It has nothing to do with alts.

Op.. you can often reset an account with "last known email"

I hadn't logged out for ages, thought I'd written down the password, etc etc. just got caught out.

Laurel got back to me straight away (& she was very courteous!) so thank you to the people who suggested that. Here's hoping it all comes good...

A workaround would be to ask Laurel to change your username from ReefBeach2 to Reef Beach or whatever name suits you best.
