I bet. My brother lives in Kenmore and it’s now apartment-ville. It’s just a crossroads of stop n go traffic. Hwy 522, 68th, I-5… no light rail. He’s in the middle of a divorce and wondering if they should sell or keep as a rental I think so

Now that you bring up light rail, let me remind you how politicians fucked that up 30 years ago. The federal government offered Seattle a light rail system in about 1990. Between the county council and Seattle city council, they argued for a year about where it should go, so the feds gave it to Atlanta!

My grandparents talked abt light rail proposals not long after I-5 was built. People said No. Freeway was enough. Same w 405. Would have been a lot less expensive back then. My mother's family arrived in Seattle in the summer of 1889, my father's family in either 1905 or 06. Neither of my parents would recognize it today, either.
