Location?

Northtowns guy myself. Some areas of Buffalo have become fantastic but most of the city has sadly decayed. Why is it we all stay here again???
See, I compare the city with the Buffalo I grew up in (HS, 1975-79) and I find it incomparably better, especially for young people. Yes, the East Side continues to hollow out (the Broadway Market brings tears to my eyes) but the West Side has turned around. North and South Buffalo have always been stable it seems to me, so the vast improvements downtown tip the scales heavily in favor of 2023.

If it's true what they say about Buffalo and Duluth being the most habitable places in the Lower 48 if climate change goes REALLY bad, all those vacant lots in the Masten, Lovejoy and Ellicott districts are gonna be real estate gold.

Live out on the suffolk Essex border in the uk is a nice slower pace to london where from originally.

Would love to visit Ireland. Want to see the old castles and little towns.

It might be nice to have a few threads about location. I have met one person on Lit who lives not too far from me. It would be interesting to know who else is in my area.
Denver.
So, have you met any additional people from Lit, or other places online, who you can enjoy some mutual interests with?
