Location location location

I'm thinking one of the sound-proofed study rooms, or just up against one of the stacks in a dark corner of the library.

though it is an early story, less developed than recent works, my After Hours Adventure developes that theme....

Actually, even before I found out that college libraries have study rooms, I always thought the sound-proofed practice rooms in many band halls would make great sex locations. The ones at Baylor University have big heavy doors almost like vaults.

At my school they have these really large study floors in the libraries. You get row after row of books and then on either end these tables that have a raised cubicle type thing that breaks them up into smaller desks. The neat thing about it is, that some of the older ones have the cubicle go all the way to the floor.

You could be in the "Quiet- Individual Study Only" area and have someone under the desk and no one would know if you managed to keep the noise down.

at my old uni campus, there were those same kind of older cubicles and yeah, the thought did cross my mind about what someone could get up to with a willing S/O, up near the back of the room. And I always wondered, when I saw a couple getting all close and cosy at those tables, what they might get up to if the opportunity presented itself

Me? I think approaching your partner from behind on the ol' balcony of a highrise ... hotel or office building would do just fine, thanks, lipsofanangel ... and then moving toward the climax while taking in the view of the world.

I guess it's kinda like those two on that mast of the Titanic ... now that would be an exquisite location! (But not on the Titanic, of course, just any other ocean liner ... )

Careful with the "just any other" ocean liner, as quite a few of them have met unkind fates, including the Titanic's sistership, Britannic (sunk by a German torpedo, IIRC). Random fun trivia though, Titanic's other sister ship, the Olympic, holds the record as the only cruise liner in history to sink an enemy warship by ramming. The helmsman managed to turn inside of a U-Boat during a confrontation, and ended up cutting her in half with Olympic's bow.

Hm... could be fun to fuck a girl in the confined spaces of a military warship. You'd have to be pretty creative (or have to have previously bribed the right people) to get any privacy though. There was an episode of JAG where they talked about how the only place on an entire aircraft carrier that a couple was able to find some privacy in was, ironically, inside one of the planes parked on the flight deck.
